Terms of service

Last updated: August 23, 2026

Who we are

Calqura ("Calqura", "we", "us") operates the website calqura.com, a free collection of online calculators and related educational content. The site is operated by Kevin Butler from Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada.

Acceptance

By accessing or using Calqura you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please stop using the site.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

What the service provides

Calqura provides free, browser-based calculators across categories such as finance, construction, health, math, conversions, and crypto, along with guides and explanations written to help you understand the underlying math.

Calculations run locally in your browser wherever possible. We do not require an account, and we do not collect the numbers you enter into a calculator on our servers.

Not professional advice

Calqura provides calculators and educational content for general informational purposes only. Results are estimates produced by standard formulas and the inputs you supply.

Nothing on Calqura constitutes financial, investment, mortgage, insurance, tax, accounting, engineering, medical, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional who knows your full situation before making decisions that could affect your money, health, property, or legal standing.

Accuracy and availability

We work hard to keep formulas correct and content current, but we provide the service “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.

Acceptable use

You may use Calqura personally and within your business for legitimate purposes. You agree not to: attempt to disrupt or overload the service; scrape or republish substantial portions of the site’s content without written permission; use the site to violate any applicable law; or misrepresent the site’s outputs as professional advice.

Intellectual property

The Calqura name, design, written guides, and site code are protected by copyright and other laws. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back. Bulk copying, mirroring, or republishing site content is not permitted without prior written consent.

Mathematical formulas themselves belong to no one — use the math freely; just don’t copy our words and designs wholesale.

Advertising and third-party links

Calqura is funded in part by advertising (such as Google AdSense) and may include affiliate links, clearly identified where practical. Third parties serve and control those ads and may use cookies subject to your consent choices and their own policies.

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites reached through links or advertisements.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calqura and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Changes to the service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Calqura at any time, with or without notice. If a calculator you rely on disappears, tell us — feedback genuinely shapes what gets built next.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Alberta, Canada.
